YMCA Annual Campaign – Coach Kristin

To members of the Monarch program, the YMCA is an organization that sponsors a fun, competitive gymnastics team program that helps shape the lives of almost 250 youth on the west side of Cincinnati. But the Y is so much more. Thousands of individuals and families benefit from the YMCA’s cause to strengthen our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

Membership dues and program fees cover the cost of the facilities, equipment and staff, but without funds raised through the annual campaign, we could not touch nearly as many lives. This includes the lives of some of our current Monarch teammates and soon-to-be teammates who are in swimming lessons now. As a charitable organization, the YMCA is committed to turning no one away for the inability to pay, even though each year we give away more in financial assistance than we raise in donations.

Competitive sports is an important part of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati’s commitment to youth and families. Click here for a new video highlighting the impact on our young athletes. Also can be found on our Monarchs website. You will be contacted by one of our parent volunteers, asking if you have had the opportunity to consider a donation this year. You know what this program means to you. Please consider helping us provide the same impact to others by donating to the campaign. Also, please take to time to research if your company has a matching gift program.

Thank you to my campaigners – Stephanie Haarlammert, Shonya Threatts and Kelsey Castro. If anyone has questions or would like to help, please contact me Kristin Gallo ([email protected]; 521-7112 ext. 2411).

Thanks, and Go Monarchs!
