We have received another check from the Kroger Rewards Program. These rewards are for the period 8/1/15 to 10/31/15. If you would like your family’s contribution to be credited to your account, you can now sign into your Kroger account online to get your quarterly contribution. Sign in and go to Account Summary. At the bottom left of the page will be Community Rewards and your quarterly contribution. Please email me at [email protected] by December 31 with your amount and 80% will be credited to your family account.

If you are not signed up for this super easy way to fundraise for your daughter’s account:

2. Sign in using your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, just click on “forgot password” and a link will be sent to your email to change your password.
3. Enter your organization’s five digit NPO number (see below) or the first three letters of the organization’s name, click search.
4. Select your organization by clicking on the circle to the left of your organization’s name.
5. Save changes.

The Monarch’s group number is 81792.

The amount we receive varies each quarter, but depends on how much you use your Kroger Plus card. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Equipment Assessment Fees (EAF)

The most recent Family Account statement you received (in folders Dec 4) showed the first EAF deposit you made being credited to August, when it should have been credited to September. I will adjust this on the next Family Account statement by moving each deposit down a month. (The 12 month “gymnastics year” runs from September thru August).

Reminder: By December 15 you should have paid 4 months of EAFs or $40. If you have not, please have these caught up by December 15. If you have extenuating circumstances affecting your ability to pay your EAFs by the due date, please contact Coach Kristin ASAP.

Second Half Meet Fees Due December 16

The second half of the season meet fees, $60, is due no later than December 16. Remember there will be a $15 late fee assessed for every week your payment is late. If fees are not paid by the Jan 9th meet, your gymnast will not be able to compete, per handbook policy. If you know ahead of time that your gymnast will be scratching any of the 2nd half meets, please note that on the invoice (put a copy with note in Fischer family folder) and subtract $15 per meet scratching (you are still responsible to scratch on SUG). If you have to unexpectedly scratch a meet and do so on SUG after you’ve paid the meet fees, the money will remain in your family account. If you have extenuating circumstances affecting your ability to pay your meet fees by the due date, please contact Coach Kristin ASAP.

Credit Card Receipts

If you make a payment by credit card and want the receipt emailed to yourself, please also have the front desk print a copy (they can do both). Place the printed copy in the lockbox with a note stating what the payment is for. Kristin will give me a copy so we both have a copy for our files.

Family Fundraiser Profits

If you participated in the recent family fundraiser, profit amounts per family have been received and your 80% will be reflected on your next Family Account statement.

Any questions please email Annemarie Fischer at [email protected]

Coaches Report

Don’t forget to be early for your meet this weekend. Please have your girls prepared and ready to go with a filled up water bottle and a healthy snack. Just a friendly reminder that once your gymnast reports to their coaches, you are no longer in contact with them until after the meet. This is a very important rule that will be enforced. It is important that the girls are focusing on their routines and skills during the competition. Thank you in advance for your support.

We are approaching a long Holiday break so please look out for Holiday conditioning sheets that your athlete(s) can do while they are off practice. In order for our athletes to hit routines, we have been really focusing on building physical strength. Conditioning is a critical component for their competition success. Let coaches know how else we can help your gymnast! Holiday is a great time to get some one on one attention.

“Your child’s success or lack of success in sports does not indicate what kind of parent you are. But having an athlete that is coachable, respectful, a great teammate, mentally tough, resilient and tries their best IS a direct reflection of your parenting.”
