HOW IT WORKS

Our main goal over the next three weeks to to keep everyone healthy and to prepare them the best we can to return to practice when the time comes.  We are providing several opportunities for the girls to keep up with their strength and flexibility.  For each one they participate in, they will be able to attend a FREE open gym once we are cleared to go back! Below are the different ways to participate:

1. Daily Conditioning Sheet (click here to print)

Please have your daughter record which days she completes the exercises.  Turn in the sheet to Coach Jasmine at the end of our extended break.  This challenge is done at your own page.  However, you must complete each exercise for the specified number of times each week.  All gymnasts who complete this challenge will earn a FREE open gym at Westside Academy of Gymnastics (Date TBD)

2. Facebook and Instagram challenges

Challenges will be posted every Sunday and Wednesday at 10am to Facebook and Instagram.  Gymnasts have until 10pm to complete the challenge by posting a video or picture on the PCY Monarchs Facebook page or tagging @pcymonarchs on Instagram.  If you do not have Facebook or email, you can send them to coach Jasmine by email ([email protected]) or text (513-405-7135)  All gymnasts who complete this challenge will earn a FREE open gym at PCY (Date TBD)

3. Gymnasts workout sessions

Some gymnasts on the team were asked to come up with a 7-10 minute workout that everyone can do at home! They will be posted every Friday at 10am.  Complete the challenge by posting a picture or video of you doing the workout to Facebook or tagging @pcymonarchs on Instagram. (or send to Jasmine).  All gymnasts who complete this challenge will earn a FREE open gym at PCY (dates TBD)

4. Coach workout sessions

Hannah, Jasmine and Margot will be posting live workout sessions to Facebook and Instagram twice a week for everyone to join in and follow along.  These will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-4:20pm.  These will also be posted to the website afterwards.  All gymnasts who complete this challenge will earn a FREE open gym at PCY (dates TBD)

5. Healthy snack challenge

Keelin Elmer (Xcel Gold) will be posting some fun, healthy snacks you can make at home! Take a picture or video of yourself making/eating the snack and post on the PCY Monarchs Facebook page or tag us on Instagram.  Posts will be made every Monday at 10am.  All gymnasts who complete this challenge will earn a FREE brunch at PCY! (Date TBD)
